Your phone
Your phone runs your life in InsideLife: your money, your work, your home and the people you meet. Here is every app.
Opening it
- Tap the phone button at the top right of the screen.
- Tap the minimap, or press M, to open straight into Maps.
- Press Enter to open straight into Messages.
- Put it away with Esc, the put-away button, or a swipe down at the top.
A small number on an app's icon means something is waiting there. When the phone is away, new messages and news pop up at the top.
Money and work
Bank
Your balance in naira, every payment in and out, and how you are doing: energy, hunger, hygiene and mood. Send money to another player by their name.
Jobs
Work near you, each with a Start button: danfo conductor and delivery rider in every district of Lagos. While you work it shows your shift, your pay so far and a hint on what to do next. Earning money explains each job.
Business
Open a kiosk on a free spot on a busy street, buy stock, collect your takings and pay the weekly rent. You can hire one player to mind the counter for a daily wage, or accept a job at another player's kiosk.
Trade
Sell or swap money and cars with another player by name. They accept or decline. A 2% market fee comes off the money.
Getting around
Maps
The whole city. Pinch and drag to move, tap anywhere to drop a pin and get a route, or search for a place. Walking and driving directions, danfo and BRT routes, live traffic, and the six nearest filling stations with their prices.
Cars
Your cars: where they are, how much fuel they have, lock and unlock. At a dealer it lists the cars for sale. Tap Buy, then tap again to pay. You can own up to 3.
Directory
Real Lagos businesses by category and area, with search and a route to each.
Home and stay
Homes
Places to rent near you: a room in a face-me-I-face-you, a self-contain, a flat or a duplex, with the monthly rent, the agent fee and the caution fee. Once you rent, it routes you home and lets you rest, renew or move out.
Furniture
Furnish your rented home step by step, from bare to basic to fully furnished, delivered to your door. Sell the last step back if you need the money.
Hotels
Book a room at Eko Grand on Victoria Island: choose the room, the nights and your dates, and pay. Your key card shows the room number with Go to my room, late check-out, invite a friend and check out. You can also book at the reception desk in the lobby.
People
Messages
Chat with Nearby (the people around you) and your District. You can mute the district chat.
People
The players you blocked, with Unblock. To block or report someone, tap their name tag in the street.
Style
Change into another outfit you own. Get out of the vehicle first.
The rest
Adverts
Tap a billboard to see its advert full size, or the price of a free board. You can report an advert.
Settings
Sound (music, traffic and the city, chat alerts), and your account: log out, or delete your account.
